As your wedding officiant, Theon will help bring out the best in you and your partner by custom-tailoring your experience to your exact specifications in order to make your wedding an occasion that you will cherish forever.
This fully-customized ceremony is complete with personalized elements of your love story, anecdotes, inside jokes, and more to make you feel safe, comfortable, confident, and heard so you can best enjoy your special day.
Pre-Wedding
Over the span of three virtual calls, Theon will consult with you both individually and together to craft a fully-customized, tailor-made ceremony that speaks to your personalities, sensibilities, and love story. On these calls, you will discuss the wedding you envision, the logistical details needed to bring it to life, and best practices to help make your day memorable for all.
Day-Of Experience
Theon will be an encouraging presence on your big day and will make sure that your ceremony exceeds your expectations.
A thirty-minute early arrival at the venue to connect with the couple and relevant vendors (e.g. day-of coordinator, wedding planner, DJ, etc.) and go over any necessary last-minute details.
Management of a fully personalized and legally-binding ceremony officiated by Theon.
Post-Wedding
After the wedding, Theon will follow up with the newlyweds about their overall experience, as well as confirming the mailing of the marriage license on your behalf to the relevant Clerk’s Office.
MarriedByThee Coaches Your Loved Ones
Theon will personally coach your loved one to properly officiate your special day. From getting them legally licensed and ordained to walking them through ceremony creation and more, he will guide your chosen officiant to feel as comfortable as possible leading your wedding.
Pre-Wedding
Theon will guide you or your chosen officiant through the process of everything it takes to be a wedding officiant. He will advise through all the legalities of what it takes to becomes an officiant, help craft a sermon with personal touch, and make you feel comfortable and confident in front of an audience.
Day-Of Wedding
Theon will be on call as a resource to your officiant on your special day, from best practices on officiating a ceremony to helping with finishing touches. Last-minute changes? Stage fright? He will be an encouraging presence through it all.
Post-Wedding
Theon will follow up about the overall experience and confirm that all measures were properly taken to ensure that all legal documents were signed and mailed accordingly.
Additional Services
Destination Weddings
If you plan on having a wedding outside of the New York City/Tri-State area, Theon will conduct your wedding at the destination of your choice for an added fee, including travel and lodging expenses.
Vow Writing Sessions
Vows are an important way to publicly declare your love and devotion to your partner, but can often feel tricky or difficult in writing them. Theon will be there to encourage and help you craft vows that fully express your thoughts and feelings.
These 45 minute one-on-one sessions will be conducted virtually.
